TOYOTA Human-Centered Intelligent Spray Robotics
Ho Tai Motor, Taiwan’s automotive market leader for 23 consecutive years, firmly believes that satisfied employees create satisfied customers. Behind the more than 2.3 million vehicle owners returning for service each year, Ho Tai Motor works closely with eight nationwide TOYOTA dealer groups to deliver exceptional service while embedding a human-centered philosophy into talent development and workplace culture—creating an ideal career path where young professionals and technical talent can enter with confidence, learn effectively, stay long term, and grow upward.
A Clear Career Path Where Effort Is Recognized
TOYOTA has introduced the Japan headquarters–certified TEAM-GP accreditation system, establishing tiered training programs and globally recognized certifications across technical, service, and parts roles. Employees joining dealerships can build cross-functional experience through mentorship and job rotation, then progress toward management positions or become in-house instructors. By passing the assessments, employees receive tangible bonuses along with internationally recognized professional credentials—ensuring that every effort is clearly acknowledged and rewarded.
Powered by Smart Technology for Both Efficiency and Safety
In advancing smart services, Ho Tai Motor established a Process Improvement Office to drive the Smart Workshop initiative. By replacing paper-based workflows with tablets, average routine maintenance time was reduced from 117 minutes to 89 minutes, significantly improving operational efficiency and customer experience. At the same time, dealerships actively introduced AI spray robots, electric assist tools, and cooling equipment to reduce physical strain on technicians, and became early adopters of water-based clear coats to lower exposure to volatile solvents—demonstrating a long-term commitment to employee health and workplace safety in line with TOYOTA’s human-centered philosophy.
A People-First Workplace Culture That Brings Warmth to Work
At the same time, Ho Tai Motor and its dealer partners have long promoted the “Joy at TOYOTA” culture, offering benefits and wellness programs that exceed regulatory requirements. They organize incentive trips, support diverse employee clubs, and some dealerships even provide dedicated spaces such as gyms and KTV rooms—allowing employees to relax beyond work hours while fostering a strong sense of belonging within the TOYOTA family.
Cultivating the Next Generation of Talent Through Campus Engagement
Since 1991, Ho Tai Motor has promoted the T-TEP Technical Support Program, partnering with 33 vocational schools across Taiwan. Through donations of teaching equipment and professional training programs, the initiative helps young talent stay aligned with industry trends and transition seamlessly into the workforce. Ming-Lun Weng, Vice President of the After-Sales Service Division at TOYOTA, stated: “Our goal is to create a career environment where people can enter with confidence, learn effectively, stay long term, and grow upward—so every young person can clearly see their future.” Ho Tai Motor and its nationwide dealer network warmly invite more young professionals to join and grow on this supportive, opportunity-rich platform—becoming a driving force for both brand advancement and personal development.
